Unlike other reviews, it's not so bad that I wouldn't stay here even if I paid more. However, the bathroom does smell. I used an air freshener to control the smell, so it wasn't a major inconvenience. Since Chiang Mai has relatively weak water pressure, I didn't find it to be a major issue. Cons: The pool and gym facilities aren't great. The bathroom smells a bit. Pros: The location is great. It's right next to Kai Yang Cheng Dei, a popular spot for Koreans. It's close to Won Nim Man, Maya Mall, and other places. Tip: Won Nim Man offers free dance and yoga classes, which is convenient. There are many brunch and coffee shops inside the Nim Man area. Kai Yang Cheng Dei is good, but I liked the Anburi Roast Chicken inside the Nim Man area even better. There's a night market every Friday night, a 5-minute walk behind the hotel (towards Tawan Daeng). It's close to Chiang Mai University (there's a night market there every day).
