I had a really great time. Here's a tip for those who plan to stay here: The Baeni Chicken Gangjeong and Squid Sundae were so good that I had to wait in line to get them. Jeonghwa Restaurant is within walking distance, so I highly recommend it. The stir-fried squid and braised cutlassfish are absolutely delicious. As for the accommodation, it's incredibly quiet after 8 PM. You can walk to everything. The parking lot is right outside the door, so parking is super convenient. And the CGV recliners are right in front, so you can watch a movie. It's also perfect for a night out. My overall score is 12,000. I'm definitely planning on visiting!

The host was very kind and attentive, which was wonderful. The house was clean and well-organized as described, and I was really satisfied with being able to use not just the first floor but also the basement and rooftop. Jungang Market is just a 1-minute walk away and the bus stop is nearby, making public transportation very convenient. All the necessary facilities like convenience stores, coffee shops, hospitals, and supermarkets are close by, making it an ideal location for daily life. It's a truly great base for traveling around Gangneung.

I had a comfortable stay with my daughter. There's also a musical fountain show at Wolhwa Bridge right next to the accommodation on weekends. We explored delicious restaurants at the Central Market and took a tour course to the recently popular nearby Mukho Port for a fulfilling trip.

It was the best place to stay for 11 nights and 12 days with my daughter, a first-grade elementary school student. First of all, in terms of location, there was no better place to stay with a first-grade elementary school student who is picky about what to eat and doesn't like to walk long distances. Even though it's right in front of the Central Market, it was right in front of my nose. And I wanted to show my child the sunrise and sunset, so I went to Gangneung, and even if I left the hotel at 7 o'clock, it took less than 20 minutes to get to Gyeongpo Beach, so I was able to see the sunrise to my heart's content. Since it was winter, I wanted to go to Pyeongchang to enjoy sledding, water park, and snow flower festival, but it only took about 30 minutes, so I went back and forth a few times comfortably. If you're traveling to Gangneung with a young child, I highly recommend it. As for the accommodation condition, my child always had a cold, but he never caught a cold during the trip. I was worried that it might be cold because it was close to the ocean, but it was nice and warm even when I just wore underwear indoors. And there was a dehumidifier, so it was comfortable, and the room smelled good, so I was able to live comfortably. I don't know what the bedding was, but it was very cozy^^ I had to wash my clothes often because I went sledding with my child a lot, but the home appliances helped me a lot, so I was able to travel comfortably while taking care of my child without getting tired. There were all the necessary furniture, so thanks to that, I was able to reduce my luggage a lot. I'm staying comfortably. And the location of the accommodation was in front of the central market, so I was worried that it might be noisy.. but the surprise was that people started leaving after 6 o'clock, so it was quiet by 8 o'clock. I didn't have to worry even if I was a light sleeper. The host answered my questions in detail right away, and told me about local festivals during my trip that I didn't know about, so I was very grateful for her kindness^^ Thanks to my child, I'm making good memories! Thank you~

We stayed for a week during the peak season, which included the Liberation Day holiday. 1. Location The accommodation was located on Wolhwa Street, making it very accessible. There's a Homeplus right in front, and a large, three-story Daiso just a five-minute walk away, making it easy to purchase necessities when needed. The Jungang Market is located across from the accommodation, offering a wide variety of Gangneung food options. There are also several convenience stores within a three-minute walk, making life convenient. Parking was a bit inconvenient during the day, as we had to use the market's public parking lot. However, the excellent accessibility to public transportation and the proximity to most things meant we rarely had to drive. In fact, we only used the car for two days to visit a beachside cafe. Otherwise, we were able to get around easily by foot or bus. 2. Accommodation Conditions The accommodation was a private building, providing privacy. The rooms were spacious and well-maintained, making it very comfortable. Ceiling fans in the kitchen and master bedroom kept us comfortable even in the 30-degree heat. Located on Wolhwa Street, I was concerned about noise, but the excellent soundproofing made it completely unbearable. I was also concerned about bugs due to the nature of the property, but it was well-maintained, and I only saw a few mosquitoes during my week there, but nothing major. The bed and bedding were as comfortable as a hotel, allowing me to fully relax and enjoy my vacation. 3. Host The host was very kind. My stay coincided with the "Gangneung Night Walk" festival, and thanks to the host's recommendations, I was able to enjoy the festival. The host's attention to detail, even down to the smallest details, made my vacation even more enriching and enjoyable. My family of three, including one child, stayed here for a week from late July to early August. The biggest reason we chose this place was its convenient location. Since we weren't planning to just play in the water during our week-long stay, we wanted a place with local food and activities. The best part about this place is that you can enjoy the food and culture of Wolhwa Street right outside your doorstep, regardless of the time of day. We could always try Gangneung Central Market's signature dishes, such as Beni Chicken Gangjeong, Squid Sundae, Gangneung Bagels, Oxygi Bread, and Potato Ice Cream, which people line up for. We also enjoyed the night market and busking performances held from Friday to weekends. Groceries were also very convenient with Homeplus and Hanaro Mart just a three-minute walk away. Most amenities were conveniently located nearby, so we had no issues staying there. The second best feature was the cleanliness of the place. The photos showed the interior was clean and hygienic, and the actual condition upon arrival exceeded our expectations. I've been to many resorts and pensions where cooking is allowed, but this place is the only one.

Gangneung is my hometown, but my 83-year-old mother-in-law moved to Chungbuk with me 10 years ago and missed Gangneung. Whenever that happened, we would go to Gangneung once or twice a month for 1 night and 2 days, but my mother wanted to stay in Gangneung longer... While I was thinking about it, I searched (hotel/pension) on Naver and found Gangneung Dalbang. Oh~~ I was so satisfied. My mother likes to go to the central market or the dawn market to buy vegetables and fish. ㅎ First of all, the accommodation was comfortable. It was clean and tidy, so my mother loved it. The central market was right when I opened the front door. Awesome location.! She must have liked it so much that she told me to make another reservation in the fall while staying alone for 7 nights and 8 days. The check-out time was 11am, but the host texted me that I could rest more and go in the afternoon. (Thanks to that, I went to the market and came back to rest a few times ^^;;) I plan to make a reservation every spring and fall. Second stay After staying for a month, I was so satisfied that I stayed again, and thanks to the owner who was always kind, I was able to stay comfortably from the beginning. In the cold weather, the warmth of the room and the good smell welcomed me, and when I entered the room, they even prepared a box of welcome medicine, so I felt good from the moment I entered. As expected, the house was clean and tidy, and it was a food paradise, so I could comfortably enjoy delicious food from the market right in front even in the cold weather. I accidentally broke the end of a cup while washing the dishes, but they told me it was okay and made me feel good until the day I left, so I was grateful. I left at the check-out time, but they were considerate enough to let me leave leisurely, so I was able to calmly clean up and leave without feeling rushed. If I have another chance, I would like to stay here again. I highly recommend it to anyone going to Gangneung. I hope the owners will always be happy. Thank you.^^

I stayed here for about two weeks for my son's training, and wow~~ This place was so clean, meticulously maintained, and everything was so thoughtful and cozy! I wanted my own home to look like this! The moment I walked in, the first thing I noticed was the wonderful smell. The bed was so fluffy, and the blanket was light yet warm. I loved it! ^^ Everything from the baby spoon to the umbrella and seasonal slippers was amazing! On weekends, my son watched movies in the basement, and the Jungang Market was right in front of the house, so the food was fantastic! 👍 The location was perfect. And the host was an absolute angel😭 She was so thoughtful! Whenever I had a question, she was so kind and thoughtful, and she answered it so quickly. I'm from Busan, but thanks to the host, my image of Gangneung has become a positive one. I definitely want to go back to this house again! Thank you so much!
