I stayed here during the May holidays, and the area around the accommodation was quiet and relaxing, giving me a real sense of rest and rejuvenation. The interior of the accommodation was charming and tastefully decorated, so I felt good from the moment I entered. Beyond what was listed, kitchen supplies and daily necessities were thoughtfully provided, so I had no inconveniences throughout the week. The host was also very kind and attentive, making my stay even more comfortable. The night view of Mukho Port exceeded my expectations. Every evening, I would take walks to Pyeongneung Park or Donghae Bread Famous Place to see the night view of Mukho Port, and it was so beautiful every time that I ended up going out almost every day. The weather in early May was perfect for walking, so I also frequently enjoyed the coastal walking trail. For a week-long stay, I can't think of a better place than this. I definitely want to come back again next time. Thank you! 😊

We are a retired couple who do week-long stays 4-5 times a year, and this is a house we definitely want to visit again in autumn. The neighborhood is very quiet, everything is well-equipped, and the host is very kind. I was surprised to learn for the first time that Donghae City is so well-maintained and has so much to see. The city tour that runs only on weekends was also great, and while walking the Haeparang Trail every day, I discovered the library in front of the house that I hadn't visited before. I was amazed by how excellent the facilities are and how many books they have. My husband and I promised to come back again in autumn. On the way back to Seoul, we talked about the happy week, saying this was nice and that was nice. Thank you so much, host. ♡

The accommodation was clean and well-equipped with amenities (washing machine, dryer, microwave, projector, etc.), so I had a comfortable stay without any inconveniences. The host was friendly and went out of her way to ensure my comfort. The location was close to the beach, tourist attractions, and the city center (terminal, hospital, supermarket, etc.), so I had no inconveniences. I was happy to have made good memories with my children.

Great value for money

Dol Dam Village, where I stayed for about two weeks, was a quiet and warm place. When I decided to take a short trip when I was very tired, I hesitated to choose Donghae at first. I was worried because I thought it was not a well-known neighborhood that is considered a tourist destination, but the infrastructure of Dol Dam Village was very well-developed. There was a library right in front of the accommodation, a beach that could be seen if I walked a little, a cafe where I could leisurely look at the ocean while reading a book, and a convenience store where I could conveniently buy necessary products. The infrastructure was so good that I could walk along Haeparang-gil from Hapyeong Beach to Hanseom Beach one day, and walk to Eodal Beach another day to have coffee. I think the warmth of the residents of Donghae City played a part in being able to spend a leisurely and enjoyable life in a city I was not familiar with, such as going to the center near the terminal to exercise and going to the restaurants that the host introduced. When I visited, I heard that the 2024 city tour bus would be the last, so I got on it. The guides I met were also kind and detailed in their explanations at each location, so it was a time when I learned a lot about Donghae City. Since it was a relatively small city, it wasn't difficult to walk around, and I took a bus to the market where the 5-day market was held while looking around outside, and when I went to Hambaeksan Mountain, which the host recommended, I drove my own car. All the various experiences I had in Donghae were new and new to me, but thanks to the well-decorated accommodation and the host's detailed explanations, I was able to spend a meaningful and memorable fortnight. Above all, thanks to the beam, TV, Bluetooth speaker, seasonings, and sauces already provided in the accommodation, I was able to have fun and not get bored even in the accommodation. In particular, there were many books that the host had prepared, and many of them overlapped with the books I wanted to read, so I was able to read comfortably in the accommodation in addition to the books I borrowed from the library. It was a warm accommodation where I could feel that all the products and equipment, including bedding, were cleanly managed. I was grateful that I could see the first sunrise of 2025 in a warm accommodation and leave. If I have the chance again, I would like to visit this place again 😀

I'm finally leaving a review ^^; I'm carefully choosing my accommodations, prioritizing a comfortable environment where I can fully relax. I was looking for a place to truly make good memories, and this place seemed like the perfect place to make good memories with my family, so I booked. As we stayed, I could feel the host's personal touches everywhere. I even painted and personally touched up various areas a week before moving in. The house is entirely white, and despite being an old building, it was clean. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as the notes placed throughout. My two-year-old son slept very well, and it was perfect. Just a five-minute walk down a narrow alley near the house is Hapyeong Beach. The complex's quiet and peaceful atmosphere was wonderful. The shaded Hanseom Beach was also a nice touch on hot days. ^^ We enjoyed a relaxing time together, recharging our batteries as a family. The exterior may look quite old, but the interior has been beautifully remodeled, so there were no inconveniences at all. The bathroom was very clean, and there was a washer and dryer, as well as ample cooking utensils. It was also convenient for exploring various places. The host provided detailed information about restaurants and other things about the interior in advance, so I didn't have to ask any questions. It rained all week during the holiday, but despite that, we had a wonderful time, feeling warm, comfortable, and happy. The kids loved it. I believe the accommodation was the reason we had such a wonderful time in Donghae.

The neighborhood is cozy and clean. I had a great time in this quiet and beautiful place. The accommodations are in an older building, but the interior is clean and well-organized, so there were no inconveniences at all. Mukho Port is nearby, and it's easy to get anywhere in the East Sea, so I had a great vacation!

My mother wanted to stay for a month, so I found it for her, and she was so satisfied that she said she wanted to come back again! She said the walking trail was nice and the village was well-formed, so it felt safe. Haha. If I get the chance, I'll come back again~

Accommodation that only I want to know I really enjoyed Donghae It was so good. I will go again next time.
