Jungmun Post Office and Jungmun Transfer Station are located within a 3-minute walk. Amenities include a GS convenience store, a fitness center (free), and a golf driving range (free). Within a 10-15 minute walk, you will find the Convention Center, Seogwipo Sports Center, hospitals, and Korean medicine clinics, as well as Paris Baguette, Baskin Robbins, Hanaro Mart, Haeseong Mart, Starbucks, Jungmun Post Office, Police Station, and various restaurants. Located adjacent to the Jungmun Complex, you can easily access all the facilities within the complex. The Oil Market is right next to the building, and the Convention Center, Seogwipo Sports Center, Africa Museum, and Jusangjeolli are within a 10-15 minute walk. Saekdal Beach, famous for surfing, is also within a 15-minute walk. Restaurants near Ocean Cloud - This is entirely based on my personal taste, but I will only introduce places I have personally visited and eaten at. ^^ 1. Yoribaka This is an authentic Japanese-style izakaya that opens at 5 PM. The Japanese chef actually immigrated to Jeju because he wanted to surf. Haha. Most restaurants and bars in Jeju tend to close early, but this place stays open until 1 AM. Basically, the food quality is excellent for the price. The biggest downside is the waiting time (last week, I went at 11 PM and there was a wait;;), so I recommend visiting right at the 5 PM opening time!! 2. Suduri Bomalkalguksu These days, the wait is so long that I recommend going early or at a very awkward time!! It is famous for its rich bomal broth!! 3. Ohusaewusi Jeju has many unique gimbap restaurants, and this is one of them. It is worth trying at least once!! 4. Keundonga vs. Sukseongdo Keundonga is within walking distance, while Sukseongdo is a bit further away. Since both are black pork restaurants, it might be good to compare them. 5. Gojipdol Ureok This is a trusted Jeju chain. I recommend visiting for lunch rather than dinner, and with two or more people. 6. Eunhee's Haejangguk, Ilpum Sundubu Eunhee's Haejangguk, one of Jeju's top three hangover soup restaurants, and Ilpum Sundubu, a local Jeju brand, are both located near Hanaro Mart. 7. A-Bout, opened last fall This place offers an excellent breakfast with a salad or sandwich accompanied by morning coffee. For 4,500 won, you can choose between coffee and a sandwich or salad. 8. Ddungdaeji House in front of the Oil Market The owner works hard, and the taste is good for the price. The fresh ribs were particularly good to my liking. I couldn't really tell the difference between black pork and pork belly~~^^ 9. Daegijeong Daegijeong, located next to the convention center, is known for its braised cutlassfish. This is the house. You can really enjoy a hearty meal of braised meat for two for around 60,000 won. If you order the rice cooked in a pot as well, it might be a bit overwhelming... It is a good idea to walk back to the accommodation after dinner to help with digestion. Excluding Sukseongdo, all the places I listed are within about a 15-minute walk. ^^ Besides the places I mentioned, most restaurants in Jungmun are above average, so you should be happy no matter where you go. Have a wonderful trip at Ocean Cloud Sorane~~^^ Hee Accommodation is located right in front of Beritne-gil and boasts being the best studio apartment in Seogwipo, Jeju, where you can enjoy the ocean view from your room and find healing just by staying there. There are 3 elevators inside the building and an external elevator for the disabled. There is a general parking lot and a mechanical parking lot in the basement, accommodating a total of 108 vehicles. The basement houses a disaster prevention control room, management office, and gym.
