I stayed here for a week, including the Lunar New Year holiday. Mukho has become quite popular lately, and I chose this place because of its convenient location and the fact that it's just a five-minute walk from the beach. Most importantly, the yard, attic, and barbecue facilities were the deciding factors. I arrived at the house with excitement, and despite the cloudy weather, it was incredibly cozy. The warm letter from the owner, the cozy kitchen, and even the yard… My first impression was one of comfort. For a week, I traveled around Mukho and the East Sea, and then spent time at home, cooking delicious meals with my family and sleeping in. It was a time to escape the hectic pace of everyday life and slowly warm my weary hearts. We added one more person, making it a total of three people, and it was the perfect space for us. The attic is perfect for reading or working, and the variety of board games kept us entertained. The yard is perfect for a barbecue, and on sunny mornings, a cozy brunch is also a great option. The kitchen was well-equipped with cooking utensils, so there was almost nothing to prepare, and the hot water flowed so well that it felt like I was in a sauna. However, ** and ** aren't particularly generous, so it's a good idea to bring extra. And if the weather forecast is good during your stay, I highly recommend watching the sunrise. Hapyeong Beach is truly a hidden gem. It's been almost two weeks since I returned, but the memories of Hapyeong still warm me. I sincerely thank you for allowing me to spend a memorable Lunar New Year holiday with my family.

I spent a week with my 9-month-old baby. In conclusion, the neighborhood was nice and the location was great. There's a coastline and convenience store within a 5-minute walk, and there are some local restaurants nearby which is fun. There's a busy area 5 minutes by car with Emart, hospitals, Daiso, Olive Young, and everything else you need. Mukho Port is also 5 minutes by car, and Gangneung is 30-50 minutes by car. And it's quiet and cool, which is nice. However, since it's a house, people sensitive to insects might find it a bit challenging (probably more so during full summer). Additionally, it would be nice to have a door bolt in addition to the door lock on the entrance door!

It was really great to easily access the hot spots in Donghae from the house. Since it's located in downtown Donghae, there were many delicious restaurants nearby. Especially, it was convenient to receive fast delivery when needed. The children had fun trying Rummikub for the first time with the board games in the attic. I had a really great rest for a week, and if I visit Donghae again next year, I would want to stay at this house again. It was such a satisfying experience.

I was moved from the start by the host's handwritten note. I enjoyed reading books, doing calligraphy, taking daily walks near the sea, and being able to set aside my everyday life in the quiet village atmosphere. It was comfortable and unpretentious, and I felt just like I was at home. It was such a satisfying stay that I want to come back and stay for longer than a week next time. 🌊💙
