About this place

Ten years ago, my husband, who loves mountains and I, who loves the sea, retired and traveled all over the country searching and searching until we finally settled here in Sokcho. The sea is right in front of us, Seoraksan Mountain is within easy reach, and as a bonus, there is the fantastic Yeongnang Lake. We remodeled this old house with great care, sweeping, wiping, touching, and polishing it stitch by stitch. Now, people passing by ask, "Is this a cafe?" Since people asked, I decided to call it a self-proclaimed "Cafe-like House" haha. At first, it was purely a second home where I made many happy memories with my five grandchildren. But now that they’ve grown up and are busy with school and after-school classes, they can’t visit often. So, I started sharing it whenever I had a spare moment, and before I knew it, quite a few people have visited. It has become a fairly popular accommodation, with guests praising it as exceeding their expectations. Going forward, I will strive to be a host who provides satisfaction to the guests who trust and visit us. Sokcho Cafe-like House 2, and two newly opened accommodations in the Nakseongdae Station area of Gwanak-gu, Seoul. Please show a lot of interest~ Thank you~♡

You can start your day by stepping out barefoot to watch the glorious sunrise every day and taking care of your health by walking on the sand. Since it is located within the Sokcho city center, the surrounding infrastructure is well-equipped. It is within walking distance of the Sokcho intercity bus stop, so it is convenient for those traveling on foot. The bus stop is just 30 seconds away, making it a convenient location for traveling to Yangyang or Goseong. As it is a private residence, there is no need to worry about noise between floors, and it is also known as a safe place at any time of night. There is a cozy ocean-view yard made of decking, where you can enjoy barbecues or delivery food under a parasol while looking at the sea. It is also delicious to cook ramen there. The small cafe, available for exclusive use, offers a charming ocean view on rainy days, so I think it would be nice to sit down with a cup of coffee and get lost in the music.
